Disgusting habits of footballers
WHILE I read almost every week about awful behaviour of dog owners who do not clean up after their pets deposit a “parcel,” I never seem to read anything regarding the disgusting habits of the footballers who use the Mill Lane field in Bradwell on a weekend.

ARE the powers that be trying to force the Phoenix Swimming Pool in Bradwell to close?
I swim a mile every Tuesday evening plus a kilometre another once or twice a week..

WELL done to Mike King for his letter last week in the Mercury about the deposit of organic (bio-degradable) garden waste and setting out the true condition of Scratby cliffs between California and Hemsby..

AS a resident of the Scratby Cliffs area for the last 35 years, I must object to Alan Smith's letter in the Mercury (July 30). It is complaints like this from non Scratby beach visitors that give the wrong impression of this area to the borough council's environmental health department..

WITH reference to the comments made by Mr A Smith and Mr D Hadingham of Bradwell in last week's Mercury.
Neither my husband nor myself throw rubbish of any kind over the cliff or on to the beach below, we put grass cuttings and hedge trimmings etc, over the edge which has over the years encouraged new growth to help keep rain and wind erosion at bay..
