
Gorleston show hopes to help heroes
ORGANISERS of a variety show hoping to raise thousands for Help for Heroes are appealing to businesses far and wide to help them in their efforts.
It is hoped that the show, which involves two performances on October 30 at the Gorleston Pavilion, will attract sponsors so that as much of the money raised on the day goes to charity.

Based on La Boheme, Rent is set on the Lower East Side of New York City and is the story of young bohemians Mark, Roger, Maureen,
Tom Collins, Angel, Mimi, Joanne and their friends, all struggling to create and survive during the era when Aids emerged.

AN afternoon of music from internationally renowned pianist Nikolai Demidenko is taking place later this month.
The afternoon recital, a part of Great Yarmouth's International Concert Series, will be held at 3pm at the Hippodrome on Sunday, March 21.
