A hit-and-run on a Norfolk seafront has prompted a search for the driver of a Kia after a cyclist was left with serious injuries.

The incident occurred when a silver Kia collided with the cyclist at 4.30pm on Tuesday in Great Yarmouth.

After crashing on North Drive, the Kia driver failed to stop.

A large emergency service presence was at the scene including ambulances.

The cyclist was then taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have relevant dashcam footage.
