Two people were injured following a crash on a major road between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth this morning.

The collision, involving two cars, happened at the Station Road roundabout on the A47 just outside Hopton just before 9.30am.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called just before 9.30am to a road traffic collision on a roundabout on the A12 near Hopton on Sea.

"Two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle were sent to the scene.

"Two patients were transported to James Paget Hospital for treatment.”

The road has not been blocked or road but slow traffic may cause delays.
