A Wetherspoons pub in Great Yarmouth has installed a life-saving piece of equipment.

The Troll Cart on Regent Road has unveiled a new defibrillator which is accessible 24 hours a day from the public highway.

The new device marks local charity Heart 2 Heart's 304th defibrillator introduced in the area.

Founder Jayne Biggs established the charity after she performed life-saving CPR on her then-seven-year-old daughter 11 years ago.

Mrs Biggs said: "Over Easter, we had 12 defibrillators activated by the general public, with most of them used after 10pm.

"And with more and more people waiting for ambulances, it remains crucial that defibrillators remain accessible at all hours of the day."
