Suffolk Dog Day is set to return this year at Helmingham Hall.

St Elizabeth Hospice has announced that the event will take place on Sunday, September 8.

Sponsored by Gladwells Pet and Country Store and Skinners, the event promises a day of fun dog classes, dog agility and scurry activities.

More than 50 stalls will be laden with doggy goodies, there will be Crufts’ style competitions, children’s entertainment and an assortment of food and drink stalls for attendees to enjoy.

Proceeds from Suffolk Dog Day 2024 will support the vital work of St Elizabeth Hospice.

The independent charity annually provides specialist palliative care to more than 4,000 people living with a progressive or life-limiting illness, and their families, across east Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney.

Every year, delivery of this crucial service costs around £12 million, with 70% of these funds being generated by support from the local community.

Income streams include retail shops, fundraising events like Suffolk Dog Day, individual fundraising, gifts in Wills, and donations.
