A47 at Hopton closed after car rolls onto its roof

The A47 at Hopton is blocked after a car rolled on the busy road.

Insp Lou Provart from Norfolk Police said the accident happened just after 7.45am on Saturday December 16 on the Suffolk side of the coastal community.

He said the road was blocked between Hopton and Corton after a car turned over onto its roof.

Norfolk Police officers and firefighters from Great Yarmouth and Gorleston are helping Suffolk Police officers and Suffolk firefighters.

Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service Trust have also been called.
