A47 Acle Straight to close for one night of resurfacing work

THE A47 Acle Straight is scheduled to close for one night on Monday, July 2 for carriageway resurfacing works.
Work will be carried out by the Highways Agency, and the road is scheduled to be closed from the Acle roundabout to the A12 Vauxhall roundabout between 8pm and 6am.
A diversion will be in place via the A1064 Filby road.

When the Acle Straight was closed in January for a week to resurface it I did say it would be better to wait until after the frosts to do the work. How much does one nights work cost us the taxpayer and could this have been avoided by better planning or just some fore thought?
