The work is expected to be finished by 6am on Saturday, 12 June, and drivers have been advised to allow extra time for their journeys.

Through traffic travelling eastbound will be diverted via the A1064 and A149 to North Quay and Acle New Road to the Vauxhall roundabout with westbound traffic following the diversion in reverse.

There will be no access to the A47 at Halvergate junction for local residents but a clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A47/A1064 Old Road roundabout and west along New Road/Reedham Road/Halvergate Road to Halvergate village.
