BURGLARS stole a black leather purse containing cards and £50 in cash after breaking into a Martham home.

The walk-in burglary happened yesterday in The Green between 1.25pm and 1.30pm.

Police have issued a description of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

He is said to be white, in his early 20s, about 5ft 10ins with a slim build and short dark hair. He was wearing a black bomber jacket and black trousers. Police believe the suspect fled the scene on a moped travelling towards Hemsby.
