A family fun day aimed at raising awareness of services and organisations for carers throughout Norfolk has been held to round off a week of activities.

Carers Matter Norfolk organised a number of events across the county as part of Carers Week.

It ended with a special carers information day and family fun event at the Costessey Centre near Norwich on Friday.

Kevin Vaughan, service manager for Carers Matter Norfolk, said: “It is so important to hold these awareness and information events, both during Carers Week and throughout the year. We want carers throughout Norfolk to realise they are not alone.”

Companies which supported the event included Thurlow Nunn, Namco Funscape in Norwich, Sainsbury’s in Great Yarmouth and Norwich, the Marina Centre in Yarmouth.
