A road was blocked after a lorry clipped a very large branch of an oak tree, which fell, trapping the vehicle underneath.

Police were called to Mill Road in Hemsby at 11.50am yesterday. No-one was injured in the crash, although the vehicle was damaged.

The fire service also attended and helped remove the branches from the scene to clear the route.

The road was closed for just over an hour.
