THE shortlist has been drawn up and now its time to decide how to spend the cash on community projects in Gorleston.

People in Magdalen, Elmhurst Court and Shrublands areas of town will be voting which bidders will receive the money.

THE shortlist has been drawn up and now its time to decide how to spend the cash on community projects in Gorleston.

People in Magdalen, Elmhurst Court and Shrublands areas of town will be voting which bidders will receive the money.

A shortlist was drawn up at a public meeting last month and the winners will be announced on Friday, March 5.

A total of 18 local groups are vying for a share of £10,000 given to MESH Neighbourhood Management by the borough council.

Residents will be able to vote on who should receive the money on Tuesday, February 23, 11am-4pm, Cherry Road Communal Room, Shrublands Estate; Wednesday, February 24, 2-6pm, Community Room, Elmhurst Court; February 25, 2-6pm, Magdalen Methodist Church. The winners will be announced on Friday, March 5.

Votes can be posted, by, February 25, to Neighbourhood Management, Shrublands Youth and Adult Centre, Magdalen Centre, Gorleston NR31 7BP.
