Firefighters from Great Yarmouth were called into action to deal with a fire started deliberately in the town.

A crew from the fire station were called out at 6.06am this morning (Saturday) following reports of a wood chippings blaze in Caister Road, Yarmouth.

They used hose reel jets to extinguish the chippings - which were deemed to have been intentionally set alight.

The scene was cleared just before 7am.
