A Gorleston school is closed today due to a burst pipe and electrics failure.

Ormiston Venture Academy in Oriel Avenue says it hopes to re-open its doors to pupils tomorrow.

A statement on the school’s website and Twitter feed said: “Venture Academy is closed today due to a burst pipe and electrics failure to the site, we have to close today for safety reasons. Apologies and we expect to be open tomorrow.”
