Graduating students and their proud family members will be taking over Great Yarmouth’s Minster on Friday.

A graduation ceremony for students at University of Suffolk at East Coast College’s Great Yarmouth campus will be held in the towering church from 11.30am.

The ceremony will see Richard Lister, vice-chancellor of the University of Suffolk, give the welcoming address and the principal’s address will be by Stuart Rimmer, chief executive and principal of East Coast College.

Mr Lister will also confer the graduation awards.

Graduation certificates will be handed out for more than 20 subjects and courses, including commercial arts practice, fashion and textiles, visual media production, sport, health and exercise, social care practice, and general engineering.

The graduation ceremony for the university’s East Coast College Lowestoft campus was held last Saturday.
