Firefighters hand over cash to Palliative Care East


A firefighter in Great Yarmouth turned a bet with a colleague into a comb over for charity.

Andy Wells, a member of Green Watch, didn’t cut his hair for 54 weeks for the bet – and the picture shows the lengths he went to before having his head shaved.

Andy’s friends and fellow firefighters supported the challenge and £200 was raised for Palliative Care East.
