The fire service have called to a house fire in Gorleston.

Fire fighters were called to the fire in College Close at around 6.30pm.

Two crews, one from Gorleston and another from Great Yarmouth attended the scene using hose reel jets to put out the flames.

The fire had been extinguished by 7pm with fire fighters remaining at the scene to check for hot spots.

There was no one in the house at the time of the fire.
