Here is the latest on First Bus services in Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.

The service is constantly changing its plan due to saftey concerns stemming from drifiting snow.


All services are running using main roads only.

No service on the 30/30A/40/X41

39/39A – Main roads only – Not serving Sandy Lane, Cavell Road, Mile Cross Estate - Using Hall Road and Aylsham Road in both directions.

38 – Main roads only – Not serving Long Stratton – Terminating at Harford Tesco - Not serving Ives Road.

37 – Main roads only – Not serving Hellesdon Estate - Terminating at Bull Roundabout - Using Aylsham Road / Reepham Road in both directions - Unable to serve Mulbarton, terminating at Harford Tesco – To be reviewed today

36 – Main roads only – Not serving North Hellesdon, Horsebeck Way - Using Middletons Lane / NDR in both directions to get to and from Horsford.

28/29 – Main roads only – Not serving Thorpe Mariott Estate / Taverham Estate - Using Fakenham Road in both directions and turning around at NDR roundabout.

26 – Main roads only – Not serving Northfields Estate - Using Earlham Road, The Avenues in both directions.

25 – Main roads only – Not serving South Park Avenue - Using Unthank Road, Ring Road, Avenues in both directions.

24 – Main roads only – Not serving Queens Hills estate; terminating at first roundabout, not serving Thorpe St Andrew, Booty Road, Laundry Lane, Gordon Avenue - Using Dereham Road in both directions and St Williams Way in both directions.

23 – Main roads only – Not serving Lodge Farm estate, Old Costessey Norwich Road, Richmond Road estate, Heartsease Estate - Using Dereham Road in both directions - Using Salhouse Road, Woodside Road and Plumstead Road East.

21/22 – Main roads only – Not serving West Earlham Shops, Wilberforce Road, Bowthorpe Shops, Rawley Road, Humble Yard, Bishy Barnabee Way, Dodderman Way, Fiddlewood Estate - Using Earlham Green Lane, Larkman Lane, Dereham Road and Chapel Break Road in both directions.

15A – Not serving Lingwood – Terminating in Brundall, using Blofield and McDonalds roundabout to turn around - Using B1172 in both directions.

14/15 – Main roads only – Not serving Hethersett, Wymondham estate, Sainsburys in Thorpe - Terminating in Wymondham at Wymondham Cross - Diverted via A11 in both directions

13 – Main roads only – Not serving Attleborough Estates, Old Catton Morrisons - Terminating at Queens Square in Attleborough – Spixworth end now terminating at Old Catton, unable to serve Spixworth – To be reviewed today

11/12 – Main roads only – Not serving Linacre Avenue Estate, Wroxham, Round House Park, Eaton Village - Terminating at Blue Boar Tesco in Sprowston - Using Wroxham Road and Newmarket Road in both directions.

Great Yarmouth

Service 1/1A starting at Martham operating to Hembsy via Gibet Hill then main road to Caister coming in along Norwich road. We are not serving Hopton or Corton.

Service 2 normal route

Service 4 is suspended, this will be reviewed at around 09:00

Service 5 serving all the way to Belton and back

Service 6 normal route

Service 8 normal route

Service 9 not serving Shrublands, but is now going around Cliff Park

Services X1 and X11 are operating their normal routes.


X2/X21/X22 is still operating Lowestoft-Beccles and return only. Hales, North Cove, Loddon and Thurton are not being served.

Services X1 and X11 are operating their normal routes.

101/103/102/105/106/122 normal timetable. 102 not serving Claydon Drive and Higher Driver due to icey road. 103 not serving Ship Road, Kilbourn Road, Rounce Lane or St Peters Road due to icey road.

Service 99 will operate through to Southwold with all journeys operating via Wangford, due to Coast Road being closed.
