Five people accused of murdering a man outside a Great Yarmouth pub have appeared in Norwich Crown Court today.
Ian Church, 40, died after an attack outside the Bricklayers Arms, in Nelson Road Central, in the early hours of May 5, 2012.
Three Yarmouth men and a man and a woman from Kent all plead not guilty to murder.
They are Todd Esherwood, 24 of Saxon Road, Tony Smith, 29 of Sidney Close, Stuart Layden, 30 of South Quay, and Kent pair Kelly Taylor, 33, and Roy Smith, 31.
Judge Peter Jacobs said the complex trial could run until the end of April, as Norwich Crown Court heard up to 39 names - not including the defendants - will be referred to in the case.
A jury is set to be sworn in this afternoon.
