North Norfolk Older People's Forum bosses have said their group has gone from strength to strength since its first meeting last autumn.

Now it intends to focus on transport at its next gathering later in the month.

The subject, brought up at the initial meeting as a key issue for older people, will be the topic at the forum's annual meeting at Fakenham Community Centre on March 20 from 10am to 1pm.

The forum will be opened by North Norfolk MP Norman Lamb. Speakers and decision makers will provide information and answer questions and the forum is encouraging people to bring their experiences and ideas and add to the debate.

Mary Granville-White, chairman of the forum, said: “It is so important for people to give their views so we can help bring about changes.”

Contact Mrs Granville-White on 01263 761419 for more information.
