Gorleston man accused of having stun gun and drugs

PUBLISHED: 16:58 07 March 2013 | UPDATED: 16:59 07 March 2013

A 21-year-old man is due to appear at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with possession of a handheld stun gun and drugs.

Steven Blyth, of Brasenose Avenue in Gorleston, was arrested November last year after a warrant was executed at an address in Gorleston and bags of cannabis and scales were found.

Police officers searched the same address in January and this time recovered the stun gun.

Mr Blyth has since been charged with two counts of possession of cannabis with intent to supply and one charge of possession of the weapon – an electrical incapacitation device.

He is due before magistrates at 9.30am tomorrow (Friday).
