A man has appeared in court charged with supplying ecstasy and amphetamine to a young woman who died after taking drugs.

Dean Otoka, 38, appeared at Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court charged with supplying the class A and B drugs on May 19 2017 to Hannah Williamson, from Freethorpe and who died aged 21 at a home in Marlborough Terrace in Great Yarmouth on that day.

Otoka, of Marlborough Terrace, also faces drug supply charges relating to ecstasy, psilocin, amphetamine and cannabis and one charge of producing 40 cannabis plants.

He is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on June 9.

Alfie Curtis, 30 and formerly from Thetford, faces the same two charges of supplying ecstasy and amphetamine to Miss Williamson.

He is also charged with drug supply charges relating to amphetamine and cannabis.

The other drug charges for Otoka and Curtis relate to periods last year. Curtis is due to appear at the crown court on May 22.
