Today’s opening at the coroner’s court in Eastgate House, Norwich, heard that 58-year-old Terry Stevens, of Southtown Road, Great Yarmouth, had been crossing Bridge Road, in Great Yarmouth, on February 14 when he was in collision with an articulated lorry. Mr Stevens was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputy Norfolk coroner Jacqueline Lake said a postmortem examination has been carried out.

She said a report gave the cause of death as multiple injuries due to a road traffic collision.

The inquest has been adjourned until a later date.
