A woman died after falling from the upper tier of the Market Gates car park in Great Yarmouth, an inquest in Norwich heard today.
Donna Carrigan, of St Hilda’s Crescent, Gorleston, was seen by security staff climbing up the multi-storey car park, and then falling over the side, the inquest heard.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance attended but she was pronounced dead at the scene at about 10.20am last Friday.
The inquest heard that no-one was with her at the time. The 47-year-old’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
A post mortem examination has been carried out but the cause of death has not been determined, awaiting toxicology tests. The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
