The fire service had to use a ladder to rescue a child from their own home when a Great Yarmouth family managed to lock themselves out.
A neighbour made the call at 11am today (Sunday, February 19) because the family who had locked themselves out could not access their own phones.
One fire engine attended Clarendon Close, and the brigade used ladders to gain access to the child locked in a room.

Couple of question that arise here are 1. Why was the child locked in a room? 2. Were the parents being irresponsble and went out and left the child alone?
