Merrivale Model Village is offering the discounted entry to all visitors on Saturday and Sunday.

She hopes the £1 days as well as delighting locals will give people a chance to find out more about the special events.

For the first time the gardens will open at Halloween with a spooky gnome trail. And at Christmas there will be thousands of twinkly lights and festive figures.
