Police thank public after missing Lingwood man is found safe and well

Police have thanked the public for their swift response to a missing person appeal.

Michael Worthington, of Lingwood, left his home just before 1pm on Tuesday afternoon, with police growing concerned about his welfare thereafer.

However, Mr Worthington, 49, has now been found safe and well, following the police appeeal.

A police spokesman said: “We would like to thank the public for their assistance with this appeal.”
