Stalham library has reopened today after being shut for a week due to damage caused by last weekend’s flash floods.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service received more than 40 calls from people affected by flash flooding across Norfolk last weekend.

A note on the library door said, “Due to flooding the library will be closed until Saturday, June 9. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

A spokesman said the library was reopening today.
