Olly Murs thrills fans at Great Yarmouth Town football game

Football fans’ hearts skipped a beat as singing star Olly Murs watched his beloved side take on Great Yarmouth Town FC.

Olly was at the home of the Bloaters at the Wellesley Recreation Ground as they took on Essex-based side Coggeshall Town FC on Tuesday night.

The X-Factor runner-up and who is a coach on The Voice saw his side beat Great Yarmouth Town 2-0.

He was seen spending time with fans, signing autographs and posing for photographs. He also managed to run 12 laps of the ground, the equivalent of three miles.

Adam Mason, joint boss at the Bloaters, said: “He was very good and he had his photos taken with the youngsters and was very approachable.

“It was great to see Olly had not forgotten his roots. His team are champions-elect.”

Last April Olly was seen supporting his side at Diss Town and he had visited a Kirkley and Pakefield FC game.
