Further searches are to be made this weekend to try and trace a missing man with connections to Diss and Great Yarmouth.

Paul Moore was last seen at around 4pm on Tuesday, February 6 in the Nacton village area.

The 48-year-old from Kesgrave was reported missing to police two days later on Thursday, February 8 and since then officers have undertaken a number of enquires to locate him.

The search for Mr Moore on Saturday and Sunday, February 24 and 25 will encompass the Nacton foreshore area and some nearby wooded areas, and they will be assisted by Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish his last known movements, although at this stage his disappearance is not being treated as suspicious and it remains a missing person investigation.

It has now been established Mr Moore was wearing white trainers, grey jogging bottoms and possibly a black top when he was last seen.

He is described as white, 6ft tall, of stocky build and with mousy hair.

Police and family members said they remain concerned for Paul’s welfare. Officers are also appealing for any members of the public who may have been in and around the Shore Lane car park area on Tuesday, February 6 to get in touch.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts or thinks they have seen a man matching the description given is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101.
