HAVING a look through their photo albums two elderly Gorleston unearthed a treasure trove of pictures of times past and scenes long gone.
Gorleston lady Thelma Hunt has dug out her historic pictures of the borough for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee year. She was at the 1953 coronation celebrations in the town.Lily Parker, 86, and Thelma Hunt, found a picture of Gorleston High Street with trams, and a deserted Yarmouth Marine Parade - with no sign of any seafront attractions, just a wide open space. And they wanted to share them with our readers.
