Moped rider hurt in village crash

Norfolk Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash in a Norfolk village left a moped rider injured.

The collision happened in Pound Lane, Filby, at about 8am on Tuesday, September 11 and involved a black Honda moped and a white Ford Transit van.

The transit van failed to stop at the scene and police are appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the incident or has any information regarding it to come forward.

The moped rider was left with minor injuries and damage to his moped vehicle.

Anybody with information should contact PC Wendy Frary at the Roads Armed Policing Team and Wymondham on 101.
