Infuriated police today said “when will people learn?” after a number of drink- and drug-drivers were caught across Norfolk overnight - including one who drove across a central reservation.

@GYarmouthPolice tweeted that the drink-driver was arrested in Gorleston “after being seen driving across a central reservation onto a major roundabout”.

They added: “Arrested. Charged. When will people learn? #fatal4”.

Earlier, the same unit picked up another drink-driver, tweeting: “A male was arrested and charged with drink driving tonight in Gorleston after providing a sample of breath with a reading of 62 - almost twice the legal limit. PLEASE don’t drink & drive! Thanks to the public for their help. #FatalFour.”

On the other side of the county, @KingsLynnPolice tweeted: “Drug driver arrested in Dersingham earlier this morning. Passenger dealt with for possession of cannabis.”
