Waveney Rolling Skating Club

Are you over 25 years old, and looking for a new way to keep fit? Perhaps you have been inspired by the latest series of Dancing on Ice and wish you could try something like that? Waveney Roller Skating Club may have the answer.

Two years ago, club chairperson Linda Seuneke set up a session for adults over 25, who wished to learn to skate, or those who had skated and wanted to pick it up again.

Some parents of children who go to the Saturday morning learn-to-skate grade sessions decided to give it a go. The ages range from 30-something to 60-something and tuition is available.

The group meets at Ormiston Denes Academy sports hall on a Monday, 7.30-8.30pm with first session free!

There are a limited number of skates to hire on a first come first served basis.
