Shop worker threatened with knife

A KNIFE wielding robber threatened staff at a Great Yarmouth store on Saturday.

The man demanded cash during the raid at Crown Stores, Crown Road between 12.45 and 1pm.

After a shop worker refused to hand over cash the thief went behind the counter and stole cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a white and wearing a white hooded jumper with the hood up with a grey and black striped jumper over the top.

In a similar incident a robber pulled a knife on staff at Evans Foodstore in Salisbury Road on Thursday evening.
