RESIDENTS are invited to the next meeting of the Southern Parishes Area Forum on Thursday, February 9 at Belton New Road Sports and Leisure Centre.

At the end of the last meeting a number of local issues were raised and at the forthcoming meeting representatives from the Borough Council will endeavour to answer local questions regarding the following:

- Recruiting volunteers for local clubs.

- Engaging young people with local clubs

- Dog fouling.

- Street cleaning and littering.

- Educating holiday visitors about the disposal of rubbish.

- Promoting cycling, cycle paths and encouraging other fitness and physical activities.

- Funding opportunities for a skateboard park.

- Floodlighting to extend the use of the field at New Road.

- Allotment provision.

- Caister recycling centre.

The meeting will begin at 7pm.
