Eighty year 6 and 7 pupils enjoyed camping at Whitwell Hall in Reepham where they took part in archery, made pottery, painted t-shirts, watched sheep dog trials and helped staff to prepare and cook meals on the camp fires. Back at school, year 4 pupils and staff organised a presentation based on the rhyme, “There was an old woman who swallowed a fly,” made costumes, re-arranged the words in the rhyme and took part in role play. Year 4 pupils also made up an imaginary habitat with imaginary animals.

Pupils in year 5 enjoyed visits from the fire service and coastguard and spent a morning with year 7 pupils on the beach building sandcastles. Years 6 and 7 also visited the Sea Life Centre as part of their activities.
