Hollie Barrett, Sharron Clifton-Brown and Keelie Greenwood have lost a total of 14 stones between them and now they plan of helping others become healthier, slimmer and happier.

Just over two years ago, Hollie was unhappy, suffering with her health and feeling like a failure as a mother, all due to being overweight.

She said: “I felt so self conscious and tipping the scales at 17st 11lb, I was worried I would be the biggest person in the group.”

However, 13 months later Hollie reached her personal target weight of 9st 3lb.

She is relaunching the Newtown Methodist Church group in Yarmouth on a Thursday at 5.30pm and 7.30pm on November 2.

Christmas 2016 was the breaking point for Keelie Greenwood, who had been feeling miserable about her weight for a while.

She felt increasingly uncomfortable in her clothes, and knew something had to change.

Keelie said: “I feel amazing now, that’s the only way I can describe it. I feel I’ve got my life back, I want to go out, see my friends, spend time with my family and not worry about hating how I look. I’ve gone from a size 16 to a size eight and just celebrated my target.”

Keelie relaunches the Gorleston Thursday group at the Shrublands Adult and Youth Centre on November 2 at 5.30pm and 7.30pm.

Sharron’s story started because she was always avoiding looking in the mirror and hated photographs of herself.

She said: “The group was the start of my new life, everybody was so welcoming and friendly. I don’t recognise the person I was. I’ve lost almost three stones and dropped five dress sizes, it’s changed my life. I can’t wait to get out there and help every person who has ever felt miserable or alone and struggled with their weight.

Sharron relaunches the Caister group at the high school on October 31 which is Tuesdays at 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
