Filby, Norwich and Hunstanton are three of five places selected to represent the Anglia region in the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Britain in Bloom UK Finals 2017.

They will join 74 other Britain in Bloom finalists – including the Essex duo of Colchester and Halstead – competing to be crowned one of the cleanest, greenest and most beautiful places in the UK.

Between them the five Anglia groups will plant more than 100,000 bulbs, plants, shrubs and trees across the region, transforming hard, grey areas into green spaces which will benefit both people and the environment.

And in August the finalists will lead RHS Britain in Bloom judges on a tour of their respective areas as they attempt to claim a top award at a high profile floral awards ceremony.

The winners will be announced at the Britain in Bloom awards ceremony in Llandudno, north Wales, on October 27.
