Like most young girls, Simmone Taylor grew up dreaming of being a princess.

Her ambition never disappeared over the years and now, at the age of 29, her dreams have come true with her landing a job as a Disney Princess.

Such was Simmone Taylor’s love for Disney she has her own room at home which is dedicated to the giant film company.

Simmone, who lives in Caister, said: “Growing up and visiting Disneyland made me want to be a princess even more and I wanted to work at Disneyland.

“I have a lot of friends with children, and they mentioned they had heard Princesses were being for children’s parties and I was intrigued to find out more.

“I started looking into the companies and came across Twinkle Twinkle Little Parties which is based in Great Yarmouth.”

Simmone sent the company a message and asked if she could audition and they replied almost immediately after looking at her social media accounts to discover she is a professional model and trained in musical theatre.

She said: “They happily offered me an interview and within 15 minutes from finishing, I was offered the job. I was so happy, my grin spread across my whole face.

“My dreams have come true and I am now officially a princess for children’s parties and also for private visits.”

Simmone added: “I love to see the children’s faces as I walk into the room as their favourite princess. With Twinkle I can be any princess and there’s no restriction. This has been my lifelong dream and now I’m here living my dream.

“I meet children either at a birthday party of at their home and read stories, play games, dance and sometimes sing. I then sprinkle lots of magic dust before I leave!”

“I also do their pamper parties and generally make sure that every child has an amazing time with their favourite princess.”

Simmone will be attending the auditions to try out for a magical dream role at Disneyland Paris next year.
