Acle needed extra-time to get past Beccles Town in their delayed second round Mummery Cup clash.

Matthew Billing, Tom Amis and Bradley Hyde scored for Acle in a 3-2 win, with Joe Clarke getting both for Beccles.

In league action, Premier Division leaders St Andrews ran out 5-3 winners against third-placed Kirkley & Pakefield Reserves. Hayden Davis bagged a hat-trick for St Andrews, with John Muir and Kabir Kareem also on target. The Royals’ goals came from Aiden Lowe, Joe Wilson and Elliot Patrick.

Spixworth are up to third after goals from Sam Gauntlett and Jordan Rocastle gave them a 2-2 draw at home to Long Stratton.

Reepham Town were Saturday’s biggest winners, beating Wroxham Reserves 6-1. Reepham’s scorers were Andy Hanby, Lewis Draper, Martin Bramble, Ashley Dearing, Andy Moody and Joe Wright with the reply coming from Ben Anderson.

Mulbarton travelled to Harleston and a Mark Appleton hat-trick saw them win 3-2, with Scott Roberts and Chris Halls replying for Town.

Caister and Mattishall drew 3-3: George Barnden (2) and Mike Fennell scored for Caister with George Watts-Sturrock, Damian Didwell and Xavier Huckle replying. A David Tayler goal saw Norwich CEYMS draw 1-1 with Cromer Town while the game at Ransomes Avenue between Scole and Dersingham Rovers fell victim to the weather.

In Division One, Waveney extended their lead to three points. With Beccles in action in the Mummery Cup, Waveney entertained Aylsham and a Ryan Bloomfield goal was enough to see them to a 1-0 win.

But Sheringham failed to take advantage of Beccles’ cup involvement – they went to Bungay and were on the wrong end of a nine-goal thriller. Kevin Riches with two goals, Daniel Andrews, Dominic Mirner and Shaun Whiteman scored for Bungay with Shane Cox (2), Chris Fuller and Roy Bevis on the Sheringham scoresheet.

A Nick Hook goal saw Bradenham Wanderers beat Holt United 1-0 to move above Sheringham into third on goal difference.

North Walsham beat Hindringham 4-1, with Liam Jackson claiming a hat-trick and Neil Dunlop adding the extra one. Billy Lawler replied for Hindringham. Loddon United beat Foulsham 4-3 with Chris Hancock, Jake Rose, Matthew Eyre and an own goal. Foulsham’s goals came from Ben Darby (2) and Matt Barwell. Jamie Hall (2), Connor Charlesworth, Liam Robinson and Jack Love gave Hellesdon a 5-2 win against Hempnall, who had Matthew Nobbs and Matthew Stangroom on the scoresheet.
