It’s now just one win in eight league games for the Bloaters - although they came away from Walsham Le Willows with a hard earned point on Wednesday evening.

The visitors held their own in a first half which ended goalless.

They got their noses in front after the interval when Mitch Forbes scored his eighth goal of the season but were forced to settle for a point in the end as Walsham hit back from the penalty spot.

The draw against mid-table opposition left the Bloaters in 19th position in the table following a testing run.

But for various reasons they have played fewer games than any other side in the division and would move comfortably into the top half of the table if they made good use of their games in hand,

Team: Whatmough, Howell, J Forbes, Andersen, Curry, Constandhi, Sanders, Davis, M Forbes, Holmes, Hagan. Subs: Perfect, McAra, Ford, Palmer.
