City to appeal Russell red card

NORWICH City will be appealing against Darel Russell's red card, which saw him dismissed in Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Southampton.

Russell controversially saw red on 63 minutes, for a high challenge on Morgan Schneiderlin.

Manager Paul Lambert confirmed a decision may not be made by the Football Association until lunchtime - a late call for the tonight's fixture against Southend United at Carrow Road.
