Devon Minnis, from Belton, has been picked for England in the U15s Eight Nations Badminton Tournament in Berlin next week.

The eight leading badminton nations come together every year to compete in a team event and singles event. England’s first three matches will be against Belgium, Sweden and Switzerland.

Devon has enjoyed medal success in every one of the Badminton England U15 Gold Tournaments throughout the year.

Devon trains at the Badminton Performance Centre in Ipswich and in Norwich most nights of the week, as well as attending England training camps throughout the year.

She is also looking forward to competing in the Victor Olve Junior International Tournament in Belgium in April.
