Evans claims another first place at Gorleston parkrun

The latest Gorleston parkrun saw 279 people run, jog or walk the course, of whom 14 were first timers and 40 recorded new personal bests.

Marc Evans (VM35-39) of Great Yarmouth Road Runners was first over the line in 18.12 for the 12th time in 131 appearances.

Tyler Bilyard (JM15-17) of Great Yarmouth & District AC, was second in 18.32.

For the women Allyna Mukuya (JW10) of Great Yarmouth & District AC was first (31st overall) over the line in 21.47 while Colleen Nicole Mukuya (SW30-34, unattached) was second (32nd overall) in 21.48 and Alice Craddock (JW11-14) of Great Yarmouth & District AC was third (38th overall) in 22.10.

The three highest age grades were recorded by Allyna Mukuya, Pamela Brown and Tyler Bilyard.

Gorleston Cliffs parkrun started on April 25, 2009. Since then 6,164 participants have completed the course covering a total distance of 330,470km, including 10,703 new personal bests.
