SOPHIE Mckinna 15, of Great Yarmouth &District AC has added another title to her collection.

Last weekend Sophie, who is No 1 in the UK for the U17 shot-put rankings, travelled to Bedford to compete in

the Aviva England U20/U23 championships.

Last weekend Sophie, who is No 1 in the UK for the U17 shot-put rankings, travelled to Bedford to compete in

the Aviva England U20/U23 championships.

She won a gold medal in the U20 competition with a throw of 14.37 metres, beating girls who were two or three years older than her. On the day, Sophie would have won a bronze medal in the U23 competition.
