Smith scores first maximum as MIll Lane and Caister draw

PUBLISHED: 15:25 01 March 2012

In Yarmouth Table Tennis League Division One there were some one-sided results. Yarcons St Johns scored 10 against Gorl Cons. Burrage did the same against Yarcon Sparks and Kings Church A won 7-3 against Yarcon A who had Ray Lee win two. Matt Current, playing as sub, had some close games and was unlucky to notch a win.

In Division Two Kings Church B went down 4-6 against Caister CA A. Caister won 10-0 over Cliff Park Tigers, who could only muster two players, Kane and Logan who played well for the Tigers. Yarcon Telecom used their experience to overcome the young college team and took all 10 points.

The best match of the week was when Mill Lane met Caister CA A with the doubles being the deciding factor. A draw was a fair result in a match which saw the first maximum for John Smith.
