Sophie Mckinna of GYDAC completed a golden hat-trick in the shot put at the England Indoor U20 Athletics Championships at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham last weekend.

Sophie won the gold medal and successfully defended her title which she has now won for the last three years with a throw of 15.90 metres.

It was also a new championship best performance, which beat the previous record that Sophie set in 2011. Photo: SUPPLIED
