At the end of half term there were still plenty of tourists present at the latest Gorleston parkrun.

The fastest two men, Robert Chenery and Ben Wharnsby. were up from Ipswich while the fastest women were Maija Kozlova (Cambridge) and Alice Bates (Rugby).

This week’s midfielders were Neville Draper and Christopher Wells. Star personal bests came from visitors Stephen and Angela Kivlochan and Keith Kershaw, reaching their new marks after well over 100 parkruns.

A total of 320 took part; 38 were first timers at Gorleston and 48 achieved personal bests, despite this being the coolest morning for a long while.

All are especially grateful to the extra volunteers who filled the important gaps this week at short notice.

For those who didn’t make it this week, remember the motto: “There’s another one next week!”.

Full details are available on the parkrun website (www.parkrun.org.uk/gorleston).
